still thinking of u everyday mr. don't think i'll ever forget u. u were a magic person and have given me strength, drive and determination. u've made me realize u have to live for the moment and take up oportunities when they arise. we had so many great memories and i will treasure these forever. i lost more than my best mate when u went. can never replace that. am never going to try to. miss those text messages, those phone calls, those beers. miss u big time and u know it. can look at a picture of u and u come alive. i know ur talking to me through them. u were one special man. solid luv always, mikey

Summer aint the same

This time last year we'd have been planning holidays. I know you wanted to go back to NYC and I wanted somewhere in Europe..you probably would've started your summer clothes buying by now including enough shorts and flip flops! You also would've been popping into Soho Square for a cold beer after all that shopping showing me your latest cd's or vinyl..this year I'm gonna be rolling on my own but I can take comfort to know that you'll be in my heart with each step I take and i'll be holding your torch up high always and forever blood...

Thanks for the music J XX

Hi babe since your passing it amazes me how listening to the songs you loved really lifts my spirits. I can be sitting doing something pretty mundane then all of a sudden a song that you loved will come on the radio & I'll be dancing round like an idiot on my own in my living room & all I can do is smile. I've just heard 1 of the thousands you loved,( Mica Paris this time) but there have been countless times it has happened. Chante Moore is played on loop when I'm in the car too. Just wanted to let you know J you are still able to make me smile. LOVE YOU BABE XXXXXXXXX

To the best dancer

The first time I met you it was at Derby Carnival, you must have just left school; Annette Robinson and Jeanette Gibbons and myself was dancing and you thought you could take us on. Oh my God boy you could dance and you gave us joke and from that day you became our friend.

Jamie you always had a smile on your face and you never let life get your down; God really has a smiling Angel with him. You will be missed and I can surely say that I was blessed to have known you.

RIP Jay - today we lay you to rest but you will never be forgotten

Today will be a tough day for all that knew you Jay - you made EVERYONE you met laugh. I am glad I met you and feel it an honour to be invited to the funeral by your family along with all your London friends.

Together we can all stay strong knowing you are looking down on us... keep us safe.

God bless xxx

Guardian Angel

Thinking of you Jamie & all your friends & family who are today laying you to rest. Help to give them strength & courage...the journey ahead is tough, but they'll get there with you in their hearts.

Much love to a man who sounded an absolute pleasure to be around...just like our Sim. Take care of each other up there, I know we'll see you again.

The Charming Man

Firstly I wish to pay my condolences to Jamie’s family and friends, “I am very sorry for your loss and I hope you can find some strenght and resolve in time”.
I’ve justed watch the crimewatch reconstruction and I wish I hadn’t. I hope though someone’s memory is jogged or the conscience of the people harboring the culprits leads them to call the police.
I've known Jamie since 1997. Every encounter with him filled me with happiness. Drum n Bass @ Flashback (Q Club), our house party when I lived in Brighton and to the last time I saw him on his 31st Birthday ice skating!! He was always around when my partner (a close friend of Jamie) and I first started courting. He casted a brotherly eye over the initial proceedings!!! Jamie was a quality human being who beamed love and peace with his smile and presence. He represented the hard working and the fun loving. For me he leaves behind the benchmark we should strive for. If I see you later mate - I would've right by you sir. Until then sleep tight. I wish you love.
